Mt Arapiles will have some planned burns happening today and possibly tomorrow. The burns will be happening on the west side down to the golf course area.
Whilst it won’t affect any of the main faces, it will mean that the summit road from Bushrangers up will be closed for a couple of days. You are still able to access Bushrangers itself. So if you are wondering what all the smoke may be from, wonder no more.
