Park Rules

There are blanket rules that apply to all state and national parks, and specific rules for individual areas. Being aware of and respecting park regulations is important in protecting the landscape and ecology of a park, and preserving access.

Domestic Animals

Everyone loves a crag dog. However, they are not permitted in National Parks under the National Parks Act, this is to ensure that native flora and fauna is protected.

Most state parks also do not permit dogs. To find out where you can, visit https://parkweb.vic.gov.au/visit/popular-activities/dog-walking
